Introduction

CAT is the managing partner of Burberry Inspire New York. Founded in 1974, the Creative Arts Team (CAT) at the City University of New York uses theatre and interactive drama as a catalyst to address academic and social issues, delivering programmes that promote literacy, college and career readiness, social emotional learning, violence prevention, conflict resolution, and arts learning. CAT works with over 18,000 individuals at 180 schools and community sites annually, including students and educators, parents, and adults. CAT serves as the NYC coordinating arts partner for the Burberry Inspire programme, supporting partnerships between three arts organisations and six public middle schools.
