From 2019 – 2021 Leeds Young Film worked in partnership with four schools, South Craven School, University Academy Keighley, Cockburn John Charles Academy and Dixons Unity Academy to help pupils develop their creativity, education and life chances through engagement with film. While the approach and content of the project has changed dramatically during the last year due to the pandemic, we were still able to engage with students remotely via the creativity kits that were produced and shared with all pupils and the schools continued to deliver our resources both remotely and in the classroom once lockdown was lifted.
