Good morning everyone! It’s Motivational Monday and the sun is shining, so let’s talk about what drives us at The Ideas Foundation! We believe every young person has a gift for creativity that deserves to be nurtured, no matter their background. Together with @bbccreative and @themcrcollege we created the BBC Creative Media Camps to empower students to pursue their passions.
Students tackled real-world briefs, pitching social media campaigns, slogans, posters, and trailers under the guidance of our amazing facilitators (like @peterbakare ) These workshops, held at places like the BBC offices, allow students to set aspirations and broaden their mindsets by connecting with professionals who were once in their shoes.
We are committed to nurturing the New Creative Class through collaborations with brands that share our vision. Our Creative Media Camp blueprint offers real-world experiences that unlock potential and broaden perspectives.

We are thrilled to invite you to train as a mentor through our mentor recruitment scheme and support the MPA’s new entrant D&I employment pipelines.
Our mentor training session is scheduled for 24th September 2024 from 4pm to 7pm, so keep your diaries open!
By becoming a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise, provide guidance, and make a real difference in someone’s career journey. Additionally, there are other ways for employers to support this initiative, such as through brand briefs, future talent days, and board input.
