Do you see the world in ways that others don’t?Do you ever find people saying, “how did you think of that?” Does making creative leaps seem to come more easily to you than the rest of your class?

Have you always worried that the ‘typical’ 9-5 working life of grey suits and offices isn’t for you?

Be part of a Future Creative community, where anyone with Ideas is welcome

The creative industries are made up of a wonderful mix of artists, writers, entrepreneurs, designers, filmmakers, project managers, marketers and strategists: thinkers and dreamers who are like-minded in spirit, but completely individual in the work they do.

And we think you’ll fit right in.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never thought about a creative career. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never met anyone who works in the industry. All that matters is that you have ideas, and you’re ready to see what you can do with them.

What’s a creative career like? See for yourself

We run one-day programmes in schools, online media camps, and two-day and five-day creative camps to give you a taste of life in the world of advertising, communications and tech.

If you’re part of our creative camps, we’ll bring you into agencies, set you briefs for big brands and team you up with mentors who are already in the industry. So, if ideas are your thing, you’ll finally get the chance to meet the people who make ideas their living.

And it doesn’t need to stop there. If you win one of our pitch projects, you’ll get the chance to move on to our Creative Scholars programme, where you’ll learn even more about the industry. Lots of students who’ve been on our programme now have jobs in agencies and have become mentors themselves.

Three things you can do to get started

1. Do your research

Look up agencies online, read books from people who’ve been there before (we love Paul Arden’s It’s not how good you are, it’s how good you want to be) and read industry magazines online (like Campaign) to get a feel for the kind of work people are doing right now.

2. Talk to your school

Tell your teachers. Tell your careers advisers. Tell everyone in your school about our creative camps. Get your friends to spread the word, too. If your teachers send us an email, we’ll do the rest.

3. Get a place on our online media camps

If your school can’t get a place on one of our creative camps inside an agency, you can still tackle real brand briefs online. Head over to our student resources page to download tools, templates and tips from some of the biggest brands in the industry.
